BLOGthatHOME.com is our newest FSBO website. To get your ADDvantage listing more exposure on the Internet, simply write a brief article (blog) and post it to our blog site, blogthathome.com. Our RSS feeds will send your article around the blogisphere (Internet) and help drive traffic to your ADDvantage® listing.

The blogging platform is called “WordPress” and works the same way as Microsoft Word.

Once you have finished creating your UNIQUE article just save and publish. Within days, the search engines will index your newly created content. You will link your address within the newly created post (means article within our blog site) which will take clicks (visitors) to your ADDvantage® listing.

Here are the simple instructions:

1. Go to BLOGthatHOME.com
2. Register and use the invitation code you were given(call ADDvantage at 1-877-232-9695 if you need the code again)
3. An email will be sent to you with a unique PW
4. Go back to BLOGthatHOME.com insert new UN & PW
5. Select “Write New Post” (upper right)
6. Title it, e.g. Miami Beach Waterfront Home Sunset Harbor Gated Community”
7. Write your article, insert a few links (see below about how) and spell check
8. Add a few “tags”, e.g. (sunset harbor, Miami home, for sale, waterfront, pool, gated community, beach home, Mediterranean home) then “add tags”
9. Select a category (use an existing one or create a new one…4 words)
10. When completed, just “save” then “publish”
11. You can always edit

Do Nots:

• Do not use Microsoft Word to write your post. It imbeds some bad code. Just use the editor within WordPress.
• Do not copy your content from your listing at ADDvantage® or Realtor.com or any content that is already published on the Internet. The search engines (bots) will not index (publish) your article if it recognizes 10% or more duplicate content. It should be 100% ORIGINAL CONTENT…or at least 90%.

Stating a discriminatory preference in a housing ad is illegal

When making any posting on BLOGthatHOME, you must comply with section 3604(c) of the Federal Fair Housing Act. This law generally prohibits stating, in any notice or ad for the sale or rental of a dwelling, a discriminatory preference based on any of the following protected categories:
