This entire area became Eglin Air Force Base.  Eglin and Valparaiso continue to enjoy a good relationship and many residents of the city are active duty or retired military members. This year, Eglin will produce an airshow; its first in more than 6 years.  If you live at 316 Ohio Ave, you’ll be a 7-minute drive from the show.  It promises to be good and will feature the F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightening II, both 5th generation fighters.
