			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://blogthathome.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/dsc08792.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-1277" src="http://blogthathome.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/dsc08792-300x225.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a>Saturday In the Park is coming soon to Valparaiso.  This wonderful annual festival is held in the Valparaiso Historic district and is sponsored by the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida.  The Heritage Museum is a wonderful treasure of history involving the Emerald Coast region, specifically Destin and Valparaiso.  Eglin AFB plays a large part in that history as does Hurlburt Field and Duke Field.  Jimmy Doolittle&#8217;s Raiders trained here in preparation for their attack on the Japanese mainland.  Saturday In the Park involves music, arts, crafts, homesteading demonstrations and numerous vendors.  It is a great opportunity to view our beautiful old downtown which was designed with three beautiful vistas of the Choctawahatchee Bay at the termination of 3 perpendicular roads.  If you live at <a href="http://www.getmoreoffers.com/property/17839614.htm">316 Ohio Ave</a>, you&#8217;re only a pleasant 7-minute walk away from this wonderful festival.  The house is for sale now.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://blogthathome.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/dsc08801.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-1269" src="http://blogthathome.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/dsc08801-300x225.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a>It&#8217;s voting day in Valparaiso, Florida, near the Emerald Coast.  Two candidates are vying for mayor and 6 candidates are running for 2 commissioner posts.  Our small town takes its political life seriously and we generally see 90% of eligible voters voting.  It is a great community to live in with many active duty and retired military members from Eglin AFB, Hurlburt Field and Duke Field.  Valparaiso in on the north end of Choctawahatchee Bay and there are 4 bay-side parks and three fishing piers in town.  And you will not find a better house than <a href="http://www.getmoreoffers.com/property/17839614.htm">316 Ohio Avenue</a>.  This Florida cottage was renovated in 2007 to take advantage of some great features in the original design.  Beautiful cypress beams were exposed and sanded and the kitchen was opened up into a culinary dream.  A Bosch gas cooktop and a Bosch convection oven are installed in beautiful custom cabinets and concrete countertops.  The stainless under-counter sink is about 14 inches deep and a slate backsplash compliments the kitchen.</p>
